About the Author

Roberta Roberts Potts is a practicing attorney in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She grew up as the youngest daughter of Oral and Evelyn Roberts.

As a child Roberta lived with the loneliness which grew from the frequent absences of her famous father.  Yet during the summers she experienced first-hand the healings of so many — right before her eyes.

Roberta witnessed the building of the world’s only major, charismatic accredited institution of higher learning, Oral Roberts University, and herself became a graduate twice over, having been awarded a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1973 and later, a Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1987.  While in law school she was named to the Dean’s List, Who’s Who Among American Law Students, and Outstanding Young Women of America.

Mrs. Potts successfully completed the Oklahoma Bar Examination in 1987, and has been practicing law for more than 22 years.  Mrs. Potts’ practice concentrates in the area of personal injury and accident law.  She considers representing people who have been injured in car accidents as a natural extension of her father’s healing ministry and her Christian witness.

In addition to her law practice, Mrs. Potts speaks to church and Christian groups as well as appearing on radio and television programs. For the past twenty-one years she has served as a co-host for a radio interview program The Roadshow  on the Oasis Network.

Since 2010, she has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of her alma mater, Oral Roberts University.

Her passion is making the Bible, particularly the stories, come alive for adults.  She is the author of My Dad, Oral Roberts, available in retail stores and through this website.

Mrs. Potts and her husband, Ron have been married for 41 years and live in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  They have two children and three grandchildren.
